1998 – The BeginninG

Debaere Bakery is founded with a focus on European-style patisserie, supplying local cafés and neighbourhood customers.

2005 – Expanding into Foodservice

With growing demand, Debaere begins supplying restaurants, hotels, and wholesale customers across London, earning a reputation for consistency and reliability.

2010 – Award-Winning Excellence

Debaere gains recognition at the Great Taste Awards and secures early accolades for its artisan patisserie and bread craftsmanship.

2015 – New Product Ranges

The bakery launches traybakes, loaf cakes, cookies, and muffins to serve the evolving foodservice market, while staying true to artisan methods.

2020 – Modern Facilities & Scaling Up

Investment in state-of-the-art facilities enables scaling production while maintaining craft quality. Focus expands to food safety and sustainability practices.

2025 & Beyond – New Horizons

With innovations and expansion into new markets, Debaere continues to push forward while staying true to its roots. Today, we continue to grow, but our values remain the same — quality, consistency, and creativity in every bite. Founded in West London, we’ve grown from a small artisanal bakery into a trusted wholesale partner for hundreds of cafés, restaurants, hotels, and foodservice businesses across the UK. Our name is rooted in European tradition, and so is our baking — from slow-fermented sourdoughs and handmade pastries to classic British traybakes and indulgent loaf cakes.
